Yes, its absolute JUNK!

Somewhere on their web site, maybe in FAQ they mention that the GPS in iPhone is lousy and therefore the software can not be accurate.

Complete waste of money. Its accuracy on my 3GS (maybe better on 4) is +/- 30 seconds on a 1.45 track!

I have a mount, and I tried to make it work. Now I am saving up for the cheap VBOX. I welcome other ideas.
