I'm not sure it will be such a success as the petitions would indicate. The TTS is $48-50k so the TT-RS will probably cost an easy $60k upwards.
It will be a good thing in the sense that it will keep pressure on BMW.

Not a huge fan of the current TT liked the old one much better it was a very unique car. Also anyone know if they got rid of that forward bias haldex awd system in this car? I remember the previous gen platform had this and made it feel like it was plowing in turns. I would assume they would have a rearward bias on this but wonder if they got rid of the haldex or just reconfigured it.

I agree the price is going to be in the 60k range, and that's too much. Plus, even though the standard TT coupe (and TT S, AFAIK) has a small rear seat that might works for young kids, the TT RS does not have a rear seat at all. So I'd probably look at a Cayman S. Less power, but I bet the driving experience is at least as good if not better.

You're right, it sure does. I'll be honest, I did not look over the pics. I had read it was a two-seat car in the past though, I think most recently on 1addicts. My bad for not checking into it further. I guess people probably just assume that TT's are all two seat, even though only the roadsters are. Kinda like some people think all 911s are two seaters.
