I had an interesting ride back tonight...I cracked two rims on a kerb when I almost missed an exit. Fortunately, they were my track wheels, but I had to do a 4-wheel change in a Ramada Inn car park! I surprised a few passers-by when they asked if I was okay and I said "don't worry, I have 4 spare wheels in the back!" LOL

Wow that's terrible luck. I saw the pictures online, and they absolutely horrified me. I can't believe how close my tires came to the wheel well, or the front underbody to the ground! I would never consider a drop on the M3 after seeing that.
Here's some video from my run, when I was chasing that C6 corvette. Was a great duel - I was significantly quicker in the corners, but he just pulled from me like crazy on the straights. |
