alex alpine HID DDE's results

Before

after

Xenon

park lights

Very happy with the result. They are very bright, i kid you not, i cant look into them without beeing blinded for a while especialy straight in front of them when the chrome mirror housing renders it full effekt
Instal is invisibel and took about 2 hours.

looks nice. are you a very handy person? How hard would you rate the install on a scale of 1-5?
also, can you get some direct front shots during the day (daylight without shade) and @ night. =)

Looks great. I'd also be interested in know just how hard it is to swap out the lights?

It has taken me that long before, and I have installed at least 50 of these. It depends car to car.

But I can say average time is 45 minutes, you do not need to be an expert to do the install, the hardest parts are(if you even consider these hard) removing 2-5 bolts depending on how you want to run the wires, and installing the bulbs, the rest is very simple, here is a video of the install...

Installed with a friend. We decided to make little cuts in the black upper headlight shield covers to let the wires run freely without tension and seal it with some silicone stuff. It was not needed but we felt better doing it that way. Also we run the black flexibel wire cover tube under the black plastic middle section in front of the engine. When we removed those bmw parts there was even extra bmw clips that bmw provided where we could run the wire in. It where al small tweaks to the instal. We did that to not have any risk of rattles of wires against platic. The bulbs themselfves where a little tricky but we managed fine. We took our time, install was very relaxed and the quality of the kit made it a pleasure to work with.

Taking a picture in front is hard because all pics we took are blurry because of the strong light

We also noticed the original bmw bulbs where kinda burned black a bit outside the glass. I am sure that also limited oem light results of the rings
