The biggest shocker was LFA with 50.6 seconds. Heck, even a stock M5 can run better than that at 47 - 48 seconds.

I found out on **************s (through South) that SportAuto blamed it all on spoiler and that they could not get the LFA spoiler to retract resulting in almost a 0.40 drag coefficient at very high speeds from 0.34 without it. The added drag caused a lot of acceleration loss over 150 mph.

It has tested to hit 0 - 150 mph in 18.0 seconds by AutoCar magazine so there is no way it will take almost 40 seconds to get gain another 30 mph. Also without any launch control system in the prototype.

Agreed, the LFA has never impressed me; now even less.

The GT2 RS is freaking fast!

To be fair, it was not the LFA's fault. It was due to not having a way to retract the spoiler at high speeds, which created drag worse than X5 M at 0.40. Great for downforce and stability. Not so great for top end acceleration. I have heard Lexus will put that control in the production model. Although, 99% of the drivers will never drive it over 250 Km/h (155 mph).

It could easily have been in the 35 - 38 seconds region for the LFA, if the spoiler could be retracted considering it has tested multiple time to hit 150 mph in only 18 seconds.

That M6 went into limp mode, which is why it was so slow.

Stock M6 has been tested in 44 seconds once from 0 - 300 km/h with a VBOX.

Regarding the LFA, it already hits 120 mph 2.5 seconds faster than the M6 and the distance grows.
