Pic Request: Jerez/Fox Red E93

Hey guys, many of you may or may not know me....i had a 2009 e92 m3 which was up on lease and 4 months back I got into a 2010 335i m-sport....however, that car didn't do me justice so I once again sold that car, dont get me wrong it was absolutely great, but just not my taste....Hence, I sealed the deal yesterday on a 2011 E93 m3 6mt....Jerez/Fox Red w/ 19" 220M wheels.....Im getting the car in 3 weeks but im highly impatient...and I wanna obsess over pics of what my car will look like and would like any of you who have that similar combo to post up your pics....thanks!!!

Why did you choose a vert over the coupe? I am having a hard time choosing between the e90 and the e93. Essentially performance versus open air driving. Since you have had a coupe what are your expectations performance wise with the vert. Do you think you will miss it. My biggest concern is from my test drives of both there seems to be more feedback in the steering of the e90.

I drive a e46 330 convertible and I have a 2 and 5 year old so I am torn a little bit. They fit in the back okay - its a little tight though. Practicality and performance versus open air driving on a whim. I believe the kids will still fit in the back of the vert (there seems to be more room in the e9x versus the e46)

I have thought about going the Dinan mod route with the 330 and getting the e90 with the performance package. Best of both worlds.

I mean the reason why I chose the e93 over the e92, or e90 again is simply because....I want an all around car. I want the performance/looks of an m3, and I want to be able to drop the top on a nice breezy day to show off my Fox Red interior....I would've opted for an e92 again, because it's IMO the best performer of the three variants....but it was just the convertible factor that made me pick this car....I love to drive, however I don't track my car enough to really mind the extra 400 lbs. from the hardtop as long as i'm still getting a good amount of power/ a manual transmission. I also opted for the convertible because i'm 19....and at my age I don't really have to worry about driving it as a family car....You simply can't go wrong with any of the choices because you can still fit people comfortabally in the back of the e92/93.

If you look at all the early sports cars -- they all were open top cars/roadsters -- why? -- because there is nothing like open air driving to get you connected to the experience of speed, the sounds of the road, your car's engine roar and the elements

To me driving is best with car that has no roof -- or one that stows away at least

Good choice on the car -- you will love it
