Both sound very nice.

I think the C sounds a bit better, probably has different mufflers.

Not sure if it's the same over where you are but MBUSA is offering some insane discounts & cash back on the 2010 c63s over here. It's a good time to get one.

What does it take to tune the C63 engine to the power output of the E63 amg? Is it just different software?

mostly software, the OEM software on C63 does not allow the throttle to open 100% at WOT and I'm sure timing is less aggressive. E63 and C63 even have the same exhaust manifolds, so power should be very similar after a reflash which my local dealership offers from Kleemann.

P.S. do get the LSD option if u decided to spec one out.
