E92 M3 Side Mirrors on a 135i
Ok,
As the subject outlines i wonder if the E92 M3 side mirrors fit the 135i??? My brother has a E92 and I must say the base of the mirror looks identical on the cars. Has anyone done this? http://www.modifiedcars.com/pix/cars...2419_31382.jpg |

When I was at that car show in Wuerzburg... the German 1er guys told me they fit. Several guys have done it on the euro forums. Maybe ask Oliver (he has a Sedona Red 120i e82) and see what he knows.
I think it is do-able though. But IF I remember right... only the newer 1-er can do it. Something to do with the larger mirror base. ??? - David - |

Hmm when my brother gets home from work time to measure up the base of the m3 in comparison to the 135 for exact specs....
Then in the middle of the night i might need to do a test fit when my brother is asleep hahha...... nah nah if it looks like it will i will buy a set of m3 mirrors and do the install for all to see. BTW my 135i is a Australian 09 Model |

Someone has done it, I remember seeing it but can't remember where at the moment.
edit: Searched and found this, but this isn't the one I saw before... so that makes at least 2 of them. I think it looks odd though, they go too far out.

I think they look goofier than the stock ones. That second pillar on top makes the mirrors appear that they are sitting up too high.

Yeah, I think you have that backward. The 2010+ models have the larger mirrors, not the other way around.
