Bumper repair/replacement place?
There's been a lot of 1er accidents involving minivans lately, and unfortunately mine became the latest casualty. I was driving tonight to see the 'rents and got rear-ended at a stop sign in Belmont by a guy in a minivan. I don't think it was any serious damage: mostly scratches, bumps, and minor perforations in the bumper, but the bumper is still intact.
Can anyone recommend a good and reliable place that will repair the damage? I was thinking of just taking it into BMW Norwood, where I got my car, but wanted to see if you guys have any other suggestions. Snapped these with my mom's camera at their place: |

Booooooo. Sorry to hear about that! It could have been much worse from the looks of it. Someone should be able to fix it up like new.

Talk to Phil at Sansossio Auto Body in Natick, tell him Rachel sent you.

Thanks for the advice! The insurance company is sending someone to examine the car on Wednesday and I'll start figuring things out from there.
It was just super frustrating when it happened because I had already avoided potential accidents with the same guy a few miles earlier (he kept crossing over into my lane when I was next to him) and I managed to pass him only to have him rear-end me at a stop sign. Grr... |

I'm actually really thankful it wasn't any worse. Both my parents actually got rear-ended at stop signs in the past two months and their cars took quite a beating from those incidents.

I have gotten 3 cars fixed at Hollis autobody in Ashland. I highly recommend them. They won't disappoint you. They specialize in Jaguar and aluminum bodied cars. But they would fix your BMW.
Sorry to hear about the accident. Hope all goes well. |
