Automatic Dual Climate System

I am wondering, I often drive the Z4 by myself and I always have to adjust both driver's and passenger temperature controls.

Is there a way to have the temperature controlled by a single knob? There doesn't seems to be one.

I also noticed that the fan speed is not automatic like the temperatures do. Is that correct?

Thanks!

Sry, I mean no disrespect but I don't understand why you guys mess around with the CC. set it at 68 or whatever and leave it on auto, the computer will figure out the rest.

I am with you - that is a great question that I will have to dive into the owner's manual to see if there is an answer

I know of an answer... Put a rubber band that fits snugly around both rotary knobs and voilą!

Sometimes, I have the top down and want to blast the heat when it gets a bit chilly out. Or on mostly cloudy days with a chance of rain with the top closed, I would want a bit cooler temperature. That is why I fuss with the controls.

Hmm, that could work. Maybe better some sort of chain that would fit around the detents of the knobs. EAS?

Both of my Escalade and my old Expedition, I was able to control the cabin with the single control of the dual-climate system.

Just wondering...
