the chinese car tuning culture is just starting.. most cars you see on the road would rather just remove their 320 badge and stick on a m3 sticker thinking that sticker itself added 2.0 liters and 200+ hp. The m3 is still a rare breed in china but beginning to grow very fast especially in major cities. I guess most people cant justify spending 1.1 million rmb buying a 3 series when you can get a much flashier car for less money. Also since the m3 is rather low key compared to porsche and other european sports cars, most people think a entry level sports cars like a boxster or tt or z4 or slk is a better car than the m3. I see many beautiful girls drooling over guys in yellow boxsters while the only remarks I get are from guys at the gas station saying "wow nicely modded 3 series.. is it a 325?"

lol this is so true man, people in China doesn't know much about the M3. They just think porsche and other high end car is better. that's why you see so many people in China driving the Porsche Cayenne.
