Earthquake Sws-8xi Dead!
So i have had these subwoofers installed for a couple of months now and regularly drive with the volume cranked up. all of a sudden today both woofers cut off. i think i smelled something burning. but why today and not when i first installed them? i hooked a random speaker to the amp (p300-2) and it plays just fine. so i disconnected the speaker and hooked it directly to the amp and no pop. nothing at all. i wanna get another set but can ne1 give me some input as to why they might have died out on me so i can avoid this on the next one. Also do these have a factory warranty or something? tia!

Keep us updated on what happened. Don't want to modify it to something that won't be sustainable.

The funny thing is nothing was in my trunk i checked the fuses and everything was fine. when i got home i disconnected the speakers and hooked a different speaker directly to the amp and it came right on. then i thought maybe the wires so i removed the woofer from underneath the seat and hooked it directly to the amp and nothing. so i dont know
