Luma CF lip (no vents) installed

I got the lip fro D1 swoop yesterday. The transaction was quick and the lip came packaged well with no damage what so ever. The lip had a nice CF weave that was seamless and the clear coat was excellent.

I ordered the ventless version. I have never seen this lip mounted on an m3 yet in carbon fiber. I was skeptical of how it would look however I am happy I ordered this version.

The install was a bit of a "figure it out" type deal. Since the lip came with no mounting hardware or tape, I went to the local supply store and got a mix of bolts, nuts and washers. I did also buy double stick tape but opted not to use any.

I removed the front bumper completely to get a secure fitment of the lip ( i know others have installed the lip w/out removing the bumper). The fitmnet of the lip was very good with small variants along the corners near the wheel wells.

overall I am very pleased with the price, quality and fit of the lip. Now for some pics.... next mods on the list are eibach pro kit and ssr sp3's by the end of the month

Good looking lip! They could have at least listed a "parts needed" sheet listing bolt sizes and such kinda like the "batteries not included" you find on some devices.

It does look better than the vorsteiner.

Looks much better than the Lumma with the hideous vents.

I wanted to go with the lip without vents...I thought it had a much cleaner look to it.
