Ok so im New here but love the sound of these two..
any thoughts or feedback of the two? car is definate toy track and fun..

one other question when buying wouldnt it be best to buy from headers back with cats etc?? is that what most folks do?

Gintani. Seen it in person. Beautiful welding, quality, fitment.. Compared to the Meisterschaft its a more solid design. Less bends, seems less restricted.

Hit up Alex@Alpine. He's a vendor on here. He can get you setup.

Gintani hands down. Meisterschaft has a less than stellar history and beginning, and they are manufactured in China or Korea I believe...

lets ask someone who has experience with both shall we...

doesnt matter where its made, doesnt matter about past bullshit..putting that all aside...

meisterschaft gt2 (redline motorworks)

the sound: at idle it has a deep v8 rumble..when you go through the powerband it screams F1..the sound is more high pitched and is very loud...there is drone but nothing that will irritate the shit out of you

the quality: i posted a few close up pictures in a thread somewhere....but the craftsmanship of this muffler is no joke it is of high quality so dont let anyone here who doesnt know shit tell you otherwise

gintani race (alex/arno at gintani)

the sound: at idle it is much deeper than the gt2..when you go through the powerband that deepness just gets louder and stronger i cant really explain it but it sounds amazing...the sound is definitely lower and deeper but isnt as loud as the gt2...the drone is very minimal

the quality: it is a simplier design that makes the most power of the two, which is the main reason i switched from the gt2 to gintani...gotta love the ceramic coating

let me know if you need to know anything else in more detail

I appreciate the mention.

If you're looking for a loud system that has a nice rumble at idle and even better when you step on the gas, the GT2 is an incredible system. The quality of these systems is truly remarkable.

We've sold quite a few Meisterschaft systems (HP, GTS, GT, GT2) and haven't had a disappointed customer in terms of the sound, quality and fitment.

As for your original question, if you want the most power and the loudest sound, definitely go with a complete catback (sections 1, 2 and 3).

Since we don't carry Gintani, I cannot comment on the sound/quality directly but there are quite a few people running both so you've narrowed down your choices to 2 very good systems.

I know for a fact the fitment and quality of materials used on the gintani is very very good. The sound is loud, and it screams like no other at WOT when paired with an x-pipe. Beautiful sound.
