Looks like PG is stirring the pot in AMG territory!

Was checking something out for my brother in law over at the MB forums (he's not a forum type of guy) and stumbled upon this.

Looks like PG is stiring the pot with a few AMG boys.

Way to go, PG! Keep making us proud

Unless it's a V12 or a modded V8 then I don't think he'll be walked by anyone.

With a plate like that, he is taking a stab at entire AMG line and we all know that CERTAIN AMG cars will walk on his M

At face value it does look like he's stirring the pot but after reading further into it he asked a valid question about a deleted thread. I will also say that their members do get less bent out of shape than ours.

It's all in jest, and he'll surprise anyone who thinks the car is stock.

Maybe PG is getting some more mods

Way to go Robert!

I'm with PG, I'll be glad to have some AMGs for breakfast or lunch.

Looks like you joined in on the action. I hope it pulls through. I'd love to see these cars (M3 & C63) go at it for what it's worth.

Pencilgeek is the man who walks the talk!! Way to go buddy! I am still wating to see the video air of "forum wars" on speed channel.

Such a shame that an M3 owner signed up there just to trash talking PencilGeek's stroker M3 while giving props to tightie's supercharged M3. Unfortunately, that is sticky.

p.s. I noticed tightie jumped in as well. Jeez, I cannot imagine what tightie's supercharged 600 HP M3 would shock those guys.

I'm looking forward to PG's comments on the whole thing, I can't say I have never went to this forum but it appears that a few member vacate both sites. I also notice that most of the heated debate centre around which is quickest or who has the most power. I take it this is all to do with the tuning scene on the States?

Those AMG guys who don't understand are as clueless as the M3 guys and vice-versa. When people see the numbers both at the track and the dyno people's eyes will open up real quick . However not everyone is familiar with the S/C systems for the E92/90 M3 platforms.

If you people would actually take the time to READ the thread, you'll see that it's a hate fest going on between TWO M3 OWNERS. And Tightie came in with good faith only to get dragged into the two M3 owner's game.

It was all nice and fine when PG was having a good dialogue (and asking about the Mojave Mile that people are going to in March 2010) and then along comes Sticky (M3 owner) and starts slamming PG. Then Tightie gets caught up by accident. Sticky has been banned from this forum and MBWorld more than once, btw.

All of a sudden it turns into M3Post. MBWorld owners were left scratching their heads, saying WTF happened here?!?! It was all nice and friendly until another M3 owner showed up.

It was a good dialogue with PG asking great questions and everybody getting along, until Sticky decided to stir things up and took over the thread.

All of a sudden it turned into something (unfortunately) you see on this forum much too often.

People need to learn to be ambassadors of their favorite car brand and not arrogant fanboys about what they own. It just shows that everybody simply has way too much insecurity about themselves. Can't we just be car enthusiasts and quit slamming each other all the time?

Who gives a crap. Both the M3 and C63 are bad-ass cars and they both excel in different areas of performance.

I obviously went with an e92 M3 but if I had to get a 4-door, the decision would of been much harder.

The whole project will be done in time for the Mojave Mile.
You better be starting a thread about this..

Oh, and when it's all done...I'll still care less about 1/4 mile drag races.
Not exactly, I was thinking you finally went F/I.

When Sticky said he was impressed by, and I'd get walked by 500whp C63, I'm wondering "what's there to be impressed by?" 500whp out of a 6.3L motor is not impressive in the slightest bit. IMO, it's actually very lackluster.

Just look at my own posted dyno charts. 448whp with 4.6L motor. That's 97.39whp per liter. A C63 would need to put out 614whp to be equivalent. As it stands, a 500whp C63 only pumps out 79.36whp/liter. Am I really supposed to be impressed by that, when I've got nearly 20 more whp/liter than the C63?

Seriously, why is that even remotely impressive?
When you put it that way then I think everyone will agree, but both engines will designed differently and for slightly different purposes. I'm sure that Mercedes could have quite easily make their 6.2L produce the kind of hp/L you are making if they wanted.

On the subject, does anyone know of any Merc in your area that's running this engine and producing something along the lines of 600hp without the use of blowers.?
