iCarbon CF Diffuser with BMW Performance Exhaust
Just installed my iCarbon CF Diffuser. Already had the BMW Performance Exhaust fitted and thought I would share some pics.
Fit was excellent and now the pipes don't stick out like a sore thumb like they used to with the standard diffuser.

Got the PE from Dan@United. Landed cost ended up being A$1250 delivered to my door which I thought was quite good and that was when the dollar was @ .80c.
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...=oldman&page=2 iCarbon Diffuser delivered @ A$934.

I really wanted the BMW PE because of the sound clips off Youtube I had listened to and most sounded really good. I was hoping it would not be too loud for me with the resonators missing and it was'nt. I have loved it from the day I put it on.
It has a very sporty sound and a vast improvement to stock. The 135i should have come with this exhaust in the first place. It is somewhat louder now though since it's been on the car for about 2000 kms and it's carboned up a bit. It's only vice I guess is when you first start the car, it's a bit loud for about a minute, but then it goes quiet. I imagine it might not be too popular under a home unit block at 5 in the morning. I don't get any drone and IMO it sounds absolutely fantastic under a load especially in the 3000-4000rpm range. I wish I had some tunnels around where I live because the times I've had a chance to go through some in Sydney was music to the ears.

I do note now that their products are now supplied through Vivid Racing and the Diffuser is currently listed at US$900 + shipping (which was over US$200 with FedEx) so fairly happy with my price paid.

Hey mate that looks fantastic!!
I'm glad you stuck it out and waited. A few times I wanted to pull the plug on the group buy but from these pics it really was worth waiting. Hopefully I'll get mine sometime soon. |

Hiya Oldman, I've just PM'd Dan @ United to start actioning my Exhaust & Diffuser. The pics look great so I've decided to do it also. I guess all it needed was that lil extra push, so thanks for the hands on the back.
Keep us up to date with the exhaust |

I was so desperate at the time for the BMW PE and BMW would not sell it here because it was not design approved, I tried NZ and somewhere in Asia (cannot remember where), but the cost from both was going to be A$2500 + shipping, yet Dan got me one here from the U.S. for half that. Go figure....
