New to the BMW Family !!

Hello everyone,

Last week I just traded my 2007 Mustang GT/CS for a 2010 135i. It is Jet Black, 6MT, Gray Poplar. I absolutely love my new BMW. All I want to do is drive and drive no matter what time of day it is and I do. I will post some pics once I wash it this weekend.

great, congrats. now get a jb3 -

With the Jb3, my 135i feels as fast as my 2000 vortech supercharged mustang gt (which dynoed 420 hp to the wheels), and much much smoother and quieter

Upgrade!

do you have shadow trim? if so it's time for some black out grills. I did this on mine, its built like yours w/ shadow trim and looks great with the kidney grill chrome gone.

Welcome to the family!!!! I have 20,000 miles on and STILL have a smile on my face driving the ULTIMATE DRIVING MACHINE. Pushing that start button is still one of the best things I get to do all day.

Black is beautiful. Avoid anything but hand detailing. Mine has seen nothing else and still looks brand new.

Oh, and enjoy Bimmerpost and 1addicts. One of the friendliest and really best enthusiast websites out there. It takes a real car person to be in our little community.....

Best of wishes, good luck, and by NO MEANS ever open your hood with the wiper blades in "up" position. Personally have never done it, but there's plenty of horror threads if you do the search. Push the START button, once a day, and you can throw out the Prozac...Enjoy!!!!!!!

Welcome and congrats! driving a BMW is the best thing after a stressful day you will have nothing but a great time, enjoy. I am extra lucky that I was able to keep my 04 Mach 1 and also have a 128 ragtop. unfortunately they are both in storage until spring.

Congratulations and welcome to the obsession!! I LOVE my 135i and look for every excuse possible to just get out and drive!! Actually need to buy a radar/laser detector before doing anything else 'cuz it is sooo easy to fly in it. After three BMW motorcycles -- still love my K1200RS -- I decided to try a BMW car...and man, it's the same incredible joy of driving/riding!! I can't imagine going back to my Passat GLS, even though it remains a reliable old friend...for weekend chores.

You are going to continue to be soooo happy... I've had mine since very end of November, and I feel like EVERY DAY I get more and more excited about it. Ultimate dream. I got many many props just tonight about it, every time someone else freaks out about it, it renews my absolute lust for this vehicle.
