Storing Tyres

I've got a spare set of tyres which I probably won't use for at least another 9-12 months. Is there a particular way I should store them? At the moment I've got them stacked on top of each other sitting in my garage.

uh, just dont let them get too exposed to cold or the weather.

when i stored tires i used to put tire gel on the sidewalls and then put them in bags

I'd try to keep them from sunlight/UV rays and keep them from drying up.

I'm running winter tires right now so I have my summer tires/rims wrapped in sealed black trash bags and have them stored in my heated basement away from windows.
