ac schnitzer tune or jb3 ??

cant decided what to do get the ac schnitzer tune and stay under warranty . Or go with the jb3 more power plus i can do alot of other mods in conjunction with it but take the chance of voiding my warranty.. Not sure how the ac schnitzer tune works with other mods , Down pipe ect..

can anyone help me decide here...

the ac schnitzer tune does not 'auto-adjust' (or something like that) on open cone airfilters, on downpipes, bigger turbo's, extra compressor's etc. etc. The car will run worse with those aftermarket stuff.

I think the JB3 system is the best bang for your buck. It offers multiple maps depending on what you have installed on the car and is very well priced as compared with the ACS system.

I can't imagine that the AC tune maintains your factory warranty, if they bother to look for it. Any tune that's making any power is increasing the boost, and they can clearly see that if they bother to look for it.

TheJB3 make more power for less money. That's where I'd spend mine.

The dealership here where i purchased my car (germany) had a acs tuned 135 on the lot they were selling. The salesmen was the one who was telling me about it and told me it stays under warranty . And that i can go through them to get the upgrade for my 135

Did that salesman tell you that ACS tune is like 5K Euro? It comes as a package deal with a change of speedo and other items, not just a tune. That's the info I got. For that kind of dough...hell no.
If you're so concerned with warranty and willing to spend that kind of cash, I'd prefer the BMW performance upgrade vs. ACS, less pwr yes but you won't have ACS parts/advertising all over your car and the additional cooling items will probably help with HPFP possible failures.

I wouldn't compare ACS to a DINAN which I would get if I was stateside.

To stick with you're question, I'd go with a JB and smoke every other ACS tuned out there.

jb3 map 5 is ridiculous on my otherwise stock 2 week old 135i......
and a great price at $550, why would u even look elsewhere?

if for some reason u don't like it, it takes 45 mins to take it off and u could probably sell it without losing too much.

i believe the jb3 also makes the biggest gains for this motor if i am not mistaken

be sure to get a BT Tool OP so that you can clear codes if the car throws one

JB3. Also, I'd go Dinan before ACS.

JB3 is the way to go for dollar to HP ratio as well as it being pretty safe. The self adapting nature of it makes it perfect for the future mods.
