iWish iDrive could be iPhone

Pipe dream, I know...but how cool would it be if there was an interface you could buy that put full control of your iPhone and it's apps on your iDrive screen.

Of course, it would be in landscape mode, but there are enough apps out there that work horizontally already. Plus, if the iDrive screen became a touch screen, to be able to do the iPhone gestures on that navi screen...ah, one can dream, right?

I love the smartphone integration as is, but too often I still find myself wanting more of the iPhone features such as the google map, full iPod controls with album art and ratings, or some of the newer dictation-to-text features available while the phone was docked in the snap-in adapter.

It would be cool.... but you'd probably end up with retards trying to play games on their phone while driving.

Agree there will be retards...but idiots will be idiots whether they have a feature like this or not. It just makes it easier for them, LOL.
