Will 245 snows fit on the front?
So Im looking at these for my winter setup.
Im using the stock rims. I really want to use runflats int he winter, becuase frankly Im not concerned with performance this time of year, and I would REALLY like to avoid having to change a tire in the snow. My concern is: Pretty much every winter runflat I've looked at only comes in 245. I would love to find a set of winter tires in the proper sizes, but alas I cannot. So can I stick those 245s in the front? Or am I stuck using non-RFTs and praying I don't end up kneeling in two inches of snow? |

Well im running 225/40 and 255/35 Pirelli 240 Sottozero rfts on my stockers. So they are out there. and 245 will not fit upfront on the stock wheels.
Go to the Mavis regional warehouse in Mount Kisco. Speak with Mike. Hes the guy that hooked me up with my proper sized winter tires, hes also a reasonable and good guy. PS Nice choice on tires BTW |

Is there a number I can use to reach him, or the warehouse, directly?
I'm not really thrilled with the idea of having to drive all the way up there =P Unfortunately the Mt Kisco store isn't open on sunday, or I would just try there. Thanks for the help. |
