stereo LCD problems
Hi all, I have a problem with the LCD display in my 06 130i.
Basically the display is fading and some of the pixels/ squares are dead. It is the BMW professional sytem. I was wondering if anyone else has had these issues and what my options are. The entire unit looks a lot like a 3 series one, so perhaps replacing the entire unit would be an option? I would have better luck at the wreckers as there would be more 3 series to choose from. Alternatively I mightbe able to get a better bmw system to put in. any thoughts? |

professional is the 'best' head unit, all the enhancements are done externally. You might be able to pick one up on ebay, particularly from the UK?

and it is relatively easy to install - it is pretty much plug and play, the time consuming part is taking all the trims off. You'll also need an angle tool to make life easier. I am pretty sure there would be a diy in the diy section.
