Angry Mutha F**king Palisades Parkway............

...................has done it to me again!

This piece of sh*t road claimed several tires on my prior 335i (because they were Bridgestone Crapenzas), and today, on the way home from work, I catch a stone on the windshield causing a star and a 5 inch crack. Driver's side right next to the pillar.

For the life of me, will this friggin' road ever relent?

Rant over.

No, I miss driving on Cali roads because of the constant construction, road debri, and potholes we have. One day I'll move out.

I'm curious did you ever get to fix your frontshield window?
If so, did you get your new window from bmw? And how much did it cost you?

Don't do windshield replacement at BMW, unless you want to shell out $2 K... Go to Safelight Auto Glass shop, they are a National chain and warranty their work,- $200 and or your insurance will cover it.

I've been through 5 windshields in 2 years > so I know...

AND MOST INPORTANTLY, ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE THEY ARE ORDERING AND INSTALLING BMW OEM WINDSHIELD....other aftermarket winshields are a nightmare, and should be illigal, seriously... thats how bad they are.

Actually, I had it done by BMW. My insurance covered everything, including the deductible.

I'd recommend going to the dealer, or a BMW authorized center like us. OEM glass and moldings ALWAYS... I've seen far too many safelite horror stories!

That is awesome! I need insurance like that too... Yeah, no one can do it better than dealer. If you, or your insurance can pay for it, there is no substitute.
