Factory Rims on 235/40 18 for Winter?
Is it possible to use factory rims and mount 235/40 18 all around with Bridgestone Blizzak in Winter without any modifications?

I've heard conflicting reports that 235's will and will not work on the 7.5" fronts. I think it depends on the actual tire. Generally, though a 7.5" rim will handle up to a 225. I've learned the hard way that 255/40's WILL NOT work on the rear - the tire is too tall. 245/40's will not work either. Not sure about 235/40 - you'd have to compare the outside tire diameter dimensions. There are people who run 225/40's all around on the stock 7.5/8.5's.
