Tires: Transporting and Strong the Set Not on Your Car
Here's a dumb question. When you have your summer tires swapped for winter tires (or vice versa), how do you transport the summer tires back home? They're bulky, heavy, and dirty.
I'm surprised that tire shops don't offer tire storage as it would seem to guarantee endless repeat business, but I haven't found any such tire shops in the New York City area. Thank you. |

Each one's in a Hefty bag. Drop the rear seats and they fit. I expect to soon have winters and summers on dedicated wheels and I'll just change those myself.

I think some dealerships have tire storage. Im lucky that my mother lives directly behind a discount tire location. I just roll them through their parking lot to my mothers house.

My dealer holds on to my off-season rims/tires. But I'm going to move to DIY so I don't have to go through the cold day/warm day crap in fall and spring anymore.
