Which do YOU like better????????

Cant decide if I want to paint the ones I've got....or stick with stock....I've always found that gun metal wheels look absolutely SICK on a white or even red 1er....but cant decide if this is too much on a black one...your thoughts...

On a side note I have the 135i badge in High Gloss Black arriving any day from Bimian.

I like the stock wheels on a black car. I would leave as is if it were mine. On white or silver I like the dark contrast. Heres my Vette

Stock or black. The gunmetal just look like dirty stock wheels from afar. Especially on a dark colored car.

They look good in the pic but in reality, they're much darker than that.

Dark wheels tend to wash out all of the fine detail of a well designed wheel.

That's my opinion as well. If you're going to paint them black you might as well throw a set of Sears wheels on there and call it a day.

(No offense intended to you guys with black wheels, that's just an opinion)

like some of the other above, I am pretty sick of black rims too, but the gunmetal job you did here is really nice because it's not overly dark and makes them look really nice imho, good job- now let's see that color replicated in real life
