trunk space in coupe - tires and wheels

Anyone know if you can fit 4 oem 19" tires and wheels in the trunk of the coupe? Coming up to winter time and not sure whether to do a snow tire hotel or lug to a buddies place. Thanks

No, they won't fit. The trunk isn't tall enough. I folded down the rear seats and put three tires on the back of the rear seats and one in the trunk. I'm not even sure if two tires will fit in the trunk. It's a square hole/round peg situation.

I tried 2 18's and and ended up with just one in trunk.. Had to put the other on the folded down rear seats..I use a thick tarp as well so it was even tighter fit..

Maybe in pieces . As mentioned, ONE tire pretty much fills the entire trunk... with space left for a few groceries.

Yes, but three tires have to go on the folded seats and one fits in the trunk. So three tires are really not in the trunk, they are in the back seat area.

BTW, what's a snow tire hotel?

basically a tire shop/dealership that will store whatever wheels/tires you are not using for a fee per year (like $100 annually); not sure if snow tire hotel is the right slang! thanks though, seems like it'll work to transport them and dont have to pay for the storage (trust my buddy more than some random people not to scratch my rims!)

That's what the Yukon XL and the spousal-unit are for, isn't it?

I just went through this (rims and tires) over the weekend with my E92 335i ahead of lease return. If you fold the rear seats down, you can push two from the trunk towards to the top of the folded down seats and then the third one fits nicely in the trunk. I put the fourth (which was of course, like all the tires/wheels, wrapped up) on the front seat.

Track guys have been putting 3 in the fold down seats and one in the trunk since the E36 series.

I think you can put 3 after folding down the seat, then put 1 on the passenger side. This is how I did it.
