DSC and acceleration

Would anyone happen to know... does the Z4M accelerate more rapidly with DSC on or off?

DSC should make no difference. DTC however could affect acceleration.

If you're trying to launch the car, DSC must be off. Otherwise, at the slightest hint of wheelspin, it will cut the gas.

If that is the case, shouldn't the car accelerate more quickly with DSC active?

It doesn't modulate the gas, it CUTS the gas.

MZ4 does not have DTC.

Off. Some initial "slip" in the tires will help it heat up faster and reach full grip quicker. With DSC on, it'll give you more consistent results. With DSC off, you will achieve the FASTEST acceleration, but you will need to learn how to modulate the throttle in order to achieve the best result.
