Picked up a Z4MR. Pics!

Hey,

I picked up a 2006 Interlagos Blue Z4MR on Monday in Los Angeles from a private seller, and drove it back up to the Bay Area on Monday evening. Washed and gave it the Klasse AIO treatment. Loving the car.

It had 18,400 miles on it when I picked it up - options are Navigation, Black Carbon Nappa, Premium Package, Smoker's Package (but owner was nonsmoker), has the DICE kit, wind blocker. Only issue is that the tires have maybe 5,000 miles of tread left on them.

Just a cigarette lighter in the front of the gearshift. Basically allows me to plug in my iPhone.

I thought all Z4's had the compartment with the ashtray and lighter in front of the shifter. What else would go there? (aside from gauges)

Congrats on the arrival and the most beautiful color choice.

Course I am kind of biased got my 06 Z4 M Roadster several weeks ago and yep u guessed it she's interlagos blue.

I have been working on the car as time permits using the Mequiars products to clay-clean-polish-wax - real time consuming but to me the results are worth it.

Your ride is nothing short of gorgeous............................

Hope that you are experiencing the same as I have so far. Was told that when they see me in the car with the roof down I have a smile as wide as Montana.

So congrats again and best of luck with the car that causes the most fun you can have
legally with your clothes on.

Beautiful Car! Great color choice.

Now all you need to do is take her for a run along the coast. I miss Northern CA and all the twisty roads.

Once a year I catch the lamans champinship @ Laguna Secca, the best part of the trip for me is Hwy 1

I'm not sure what's best; the twistys or the coastal views. Have you been on this streach of road? It is a must.

Great buy. You'll get used to buying new tyres. Love the colour - although I have the "real" European colour of Imola Red!

Enjoy it but remove the CDV immediately.
