How are you liking it? That is quite a change!

I changed my '06 Z4M Coupe to an '08 M3 Coupe and I do miss the little spitfire but am overall happy with the M3.

the new gen ml or the older one? hopefully its the new one cause at least it looks good.

I recently sold my M as well for more practicality and four wheel drive but i went for a sti instead of a SUV still a smoking sports car

NO, I just had no room, and with 2 kids going to Baseball games and Softball games, all the Gear etc. It was just not practical and I had to make that switch ( for now ) if money comes in later I may buy an additionla Vehicle.

Well I honetsly have to tell you, the ML 500 is a VERY fast SUV ! Im impressed, I did not expected that power and speed. All whell drive on top of it etc. 0-60 in 7.7 sec...tht is fast for a 4000 pound vehicle.
It is also very luxery inside, with Nav and all other goodes.

Cherokee SRT8 is a fast SUV...faster than M3 to 60. The MB is not that fast but good luck and enjoy.

Was wondering- Don't Jeeps have tons of parts from the Diamler parts ben? I know the relationship has been severed but this SRT8 was designed built under Diamler ownership. Just curious...

I will say this... I had ALOT better customer service with MB. Free loaner cars when you got service, no attitude, no problems ever. I don't think I can say the same for BMW...

When my DME was on the fritz and I had to drop off my car at Irvine BMW, they asked me if I needed a ride back to work. Ummmm... how about a loaner car ?

If I were to get another sedan, it wouldn't be a Beemer which is sad to say, because I think the cars are great, it's because of the service / attitude.

ironically, the mb service was not great by me in NY, and the bmw has been very good. Loaners were given to me even without an appointment, in a last minute visit. my MB dealer, on the other hand, accused me of breaking things on purpose because ive had repeat issues with the car.

THAT sux... I think it's a Newport Beach / Irvine thing to be honest. I went to Fletcher Jones MB once in Newport and they were super douchie. Then I went south to Laguna Nigel MB and they were super cool.

I have two MBs...wifey like them....

Service seems good, but routine maintenance is $$$ vs. the BMWs we own.
