I don't know anything special, yet...
I might know more in a few days. But from what I've heard, it sounds amazing. |

If I read the postings at e90 correctly, 335i folks have had Stett's intake for over a year now. Did anyone find the performance gains?

The nice thing about his design is that it's an actual cold air intake. It's pulling air from the lower grill instead of the engine bay. Even with a plenum the other intakes will stuck in some heat from the engine. I also rather like the look of the pipes, the main pipe feeds into a nice Y fitting splitting to the two inlets. |

Thanks guys. Stett's intake definitely looks nice and is a coldER air intake compared to what's out there.
Keith, do you hear any noticeable difference in sound? Please post the numbers after your dyno.

The sound is amazing with this intake. I find it much more noticeable than the Riss intake with the plenum. Next time you're heading to Wylie let me know and we'll meet up somewhere so you can check it out.
I went to the track today and the car was great. The track was a bit slick this morning, but dried out nicely, and with the cool weather I had no problem with oil temperature. In the last session the temperature went to about 270, but that was when I was really pushing it to get around a Ferrari 360. This car loves the track. |

Wow, looks like we will soon have a new best intake option. I still sort of think the Injen looks better and it probably will flow more air but most say the N54 doesn't need much more air than the stock unit provides. No doubt the Stett will flow much colder air. Luckily I already have an Injen so this way I don't have to decide which to buy..lol.
