Disable remote window's down

is there any way to make the remote control not ever roll down the windows?

3rd time mine rolled down when I did not know and was inside, luckly all 3 times it did not rain, but almost today

I had my .40 in the car today too, with windows wide open and a thunderstorm on the way, luckly somebody noticed and told me.

I've gotten so I cant keep my keys in my pocket anymore.

You could do this on my last bmw, but I looked all over the manual and cant figure out how to do it on the 135i with comfort access

I've had the same thing happen to me twice. The second time I walked outside and it was snowing (lightly) into my sunroof. I rarely use the feature, and I wouldn't mind turning it off as well.

The way my key fob is programed is press ^ once to unlock all doors and I have to press it a second time and hold the button down to get any windows/sunroof to open. Closing is just the pressing the center button on the fob once. If you are locking it up and windows are coming down, something doesnt jive. I'll look around for the instructions the dealer gave me.

ohh it unlocks too

I'm in my office, and I come outside and see all the windows down and the doors unlocked

I dont want it to do this, obviously the button is getting held down in my pocket, I want to completely disable this feature before my guns are stolen, or my car gets rained in and wrecked

If all else fails the little key wallet they sell in the accessories catalog might help with accidental presses (far from optimal i know)

I wonder if this is a programming change the dealer can do?

Why do you have guns in the car?

I think there's an option to disable it with ISTA/P.

How does this happen? My key fob only works from about 5 feet away. Do you have better range? Seems like you would be able to see/hear the windows rolling down at this distance?

The last time I had it happen I was at a friends house. We were inside, and the car was parked probably 10-15 meters from where I was sitting. Normally in parking lots mine will work about that far away.

mine seems to have a really long range, because the car is in front of my building at work, and I'm inside and there's 3 walls between the car and my pocket
