i just got the carbon fiber steering wheel roundel in the mail and i want to install it.. is this something that has to be glue on the existing one OR do i remove the existing one and put this one on?

lol i dont want no airbag or anything going off on mee..

Typically these install with double sided tape on the back.

Airbag won't go off but don't take the roundel of the steering wheel
What happens is you leave a small gap all the way around your new badge without the old one under
They are meant to just stick on top with the adhesive already on the back of the new badge
