M3 Convertible boot lid spoiler
I have a new m3 convertible on order and just realised it doesnt come with a boot lid spoiler.
Why is that? Not as thou it gets in the way of anything? |

I read somewhere that it's due to the double hinged boot and that the downforce would strain the hinge that is on the front of the boot.
I can't imagine a small boot lid spoiler creates that much downforce so I went ahead and installed one that I bought from one of the vendors on this forum. |

Because the convertible has the sharkfin there instead. It's not in the same spot, but I think it will look busy with both.
I'd probably delete the spoiler anyway if I had a coupe/sedan. I prefer the clean look. |

The euro M3 Cab doesn't have the spoiler or the shark fin....
