I got an email from my CA today and he told me that my car should be at the dealership this coming Monday....

I can't believe it after 5 months of waiting....

My car took 6 weeks... what's the deal with 5 months??

And most importantly - CONGRATS! The best days are just before you get a new car...

I wanted my car in Feb. or March, plus I wanted to pay off my wife's car first. It was one of my wife's wishes that I do so before getting something really expensive. So my CA told me back in September that we can order and put my order on the bank and when it comes close to February, the car would get build. That is why it took 5 months. If it wasn't for that, I would had my car in December. And thank you...

The reason why yours only took 6 weeks(very fast) is because it was already in production when the allocation was made by the dealership. The longest wait I've ever heard of is almost 4mos, because you have to consider BMW goes on vacation for month and if your car is in production during that time well....that tacks on a month right away!

The OP has other factors though. Congrats on the new car, post pics when you get it!
