anyone select despoiler option
my car looks like this...no spoiler as I selected "despoiler" option for cleaner look...but now beginning to wonder if I am losing out on the 'downforce'/ hig speed stability....mostly drive highway speed 70-80mph+....on the bmwusa site, the M section video highlights rear diffuser for downforce....not sure how much is hype vs real world.... I can have the dealer install spoiler (dealer said it is an all day process - to dry the glue...)...but before doing anything thoughts welcome...?

Ew just doesn't look right without it. I don't know how much cleaner it looks either since the M spoiler is small to start off with. Just my .02

If the M3 had an"STi" style spoiler (maybe I'm over-exaggerating...) I would certainly gave deleted it. The stock one however, is just perfect. I'd consider getting the stock one or even the BMW Perf. CF one.

I prefer the look without the spoiler. It "spoils" the look. Downforce? Mayhaps from the diffuser but not from that little lump of plastic on the trunk. I'm all for the Vorsteiner boot lid but I like OP's look.

My order(AW,BB,CF,90) is going in tommorow A.M.-WITHOUT spoiler-taste is taste but mine says it looks added on, not awful but not like it's art of the design.

I have been so tempted to remove mine 'cause I prefer the look without the lip spoiler. However, everyone I know keeps telling me to leave it alone. It's only a matter of time before I do it.

unlikely to make much of a difference with downforce given that it's so small. that and spoilers don't have any affect unless you're driving at speeds of 100+ mph

Exactly why I didn't go for the delete option. I like it but my wife thinks it looks ricer. She has NO idea.

Mine came with a different spoiler. I'm thinking about taking it off...
