BMS DCI and JB+
Look what was waiting for me when I got home!!!
Huge THANK YOU to Terry for such a fast shipment. I'm just letting the car cool down before I get started with the installs. Before any one asks, this is my daily driver and its bone stock at the moment. I will not be able to compare it to the SSTT. I will only be able tell you my personal thoughts on how different the car feels. I have done some mods on my cars in the past, but I am very much a noob, so I will also be able to tell other noobs about the ease of install as well. As far as price and release date for the JB+, you will need to contact BMS for that info.

Done! Both in about 45 minutes. The hardest part, and I use that word loosely, was getting to the inter-most clamp to loosen the factory air box from the hose. Lucky I have small hands. As a noob, I say both installs was fairly easy.
Going for a drive...

First of all, the Dual Cone Intake sounds amazing. I think I read some reviews stating there was not much improvment in sound but I can definately hear the whine of the turbos now where before I never noticed them. Sound is awsome! I can feel an improvement in response as well. I give the DCI two huge thumbs up!
I will give it a day or two for the car to adjust to the JB+ before I report back in that.

I was not feeling much difference the first few days but that was to be expected. There was even times were it just didn’t feel right at all. I just wrote those times off as growing pains for the ESC. BUT now!!! I absolutely love it. It's instant power when you hit the gas. I don’t have any dyno numbers or track slips, but I can tell you the car feels quicker more powerful and more responsive at the same time it's still feels silky smooth. It have thrown my head back a few times just in my normal daily drive to work where as before it never did.
I ran the car this weekend in a wide range of outside temps, from 70’s one day down to 35 degrees the next (welcome to Texas). Did not throw ant CEL at all. Just seemed to get stronger every day. If Terry (BMS) hit there price point on this, it should come in about the same price you can pick up a used SSTT, but you have to keep in mind that the JB+ has an adjustable range of 2psi (full min) to 5psi (full max). Well worth the price!!! I kept the JB+ at the default setting. I think it set to 2.75 as default. This was the safe range since my car has a build date of 05/08. Hopefully with the new BT tool Terry has, he can do more testing about how far was can push the JB+ without throwing any hidden codes.

The hardest part of the install is the removal of the stock airbox. I say hardest but the whole thing is faily easy to do. It was just getting to the hose clamp was a little tough cause its in a cramp space. As far as the TMAP itself, once the airbox is removed its easy to get to and unclip.
Check out the install instructions of the SSTT, its the exact same.

I know the SSTT claimed increases in MPG, have you noticed anything like that with this?
