Ordering my M3.
Well, I've decided to finally upgrade!
First I'd like to introduce myself, 24 year old male from West Hollywood/Dowtown I've driven an 09 E90 M3 6spd (friends) for quite some time and really do want to jump ship from the E46 to the E92 M3. I've yet to test drive the DCT but would really love to go that route due to the Los Angeles traffic and just the option of having someone else able to drive my car if ever needed. I've driven 6 speeds for quite some time (current E46 M3, Audi S4, etc.). Just would like to try something different. My questions are: It is a 7 speed correct? (the DCT), also.. is the new software (that gets rid of the supposed lag) out now, or coming soon? Also.. As soon as the new Supercharger kits are released I'd LOVE to go that route ASAP, can the DCT transmission take that amount of torque? I'll go with a 6 speed if it's the only way to have a bullet proof transmission when it comes to forced induction. Any help would be great! Also, the specs I'm going with are: Alpine White E92 M3, Technology Package, Carbon Roof, Ipod Adapter, Extended Novillo leather, Heated front seats, and the 19" M Wheels. Thanks again for any input! I cant' wait to be part of the club! |
