This is a pretty subjective discussion, but the settings on the above post are a good place to start. Personally I always like to add a bit of bass, drop a bit of treble, and fade to the rear a touch. It has been mentioned a couple of times that the premium system is a bit rich in the door pillar speakers, they punch pretty hard, so if you're sensitive to those you may need to load up the rear a bit more, and pull the annoying frequencies out of the EQ a bit more.
I'll try and remember to get my settings some time for interest's sake, but I played around a bit, and got some I like, and there is definitely no "right" answer or they wouldn't have given you an EQ in the first place !! Try some people's recommendations, then tune to your liking.

^^ I know there's no def "right" answer but I (and im sure a lot of us on here that don't know squat about the EQ) would like to know what are some of the settings that you audio guys are using so we could get a good basis to tweak to our liking.
cmon where are all you audio guys at? I know you're out there |

It's very personal, but I have to say I have not touched the EQ at all. It seemed perfect right from the factory. That's surprised me because I had to spend about 10 minutes resetting the audio in my wife's Lexus because it sounded like utter crap. It still doesn't come close to the sound in my 1. Even my son always wants to go in my car because the tunes from his ipod sound so good. Fortunately, my wife's hearing is not so exacting or she'd be trying to trade cars.

I usually play around with iTunes' equalizer (or Winamp; or any other audio player of your choice) and mimic those on my car's EQ. The other thing you can do, is turn your EQ on to a setting you like on your iPod and setting your car's EQ to its base settings. I suppose you could also set your car's EQ and your iPod's but...then your flux capictor wouldn't work. However, I don't usually use my iPod (morning commute to work, evening commute home = I enjoy Kevin & Bean on the radio). When I do use my iPod, it's usually if I went out for a night of fun and merriment. ...which isn't very often.
