iDrive Nav failure/freeze?
I was driving earlier and my 09 iDrive nav died. It registered my position correctly on the moving map and BMW Assist got the position from the car correctly as well. However, when I input a destination it refused to route me. I got a message saying that the computer couldn't calculate the route. I then tried every address in my phonebook + had BMW Assist download the route to the car. Nothing worked. I got my navigation working later that night but this is worrysome.
Any ideas?

Apparently 09 iDrive has issues with extreme cold. It has been freezing lately and will be getting even colder. I pensively await the computer blowing up while the car is in my driveway.
The service guys at the dealership threw the problem BMWNA for a solution that I can do myself or a hard reset procedure. Barring that, its going back to them.
