Perth Today -> BMW Show'N'Shine

Hi Perthites

Sorry for the late notice, thought I'd let you know that the BMW Car Club of WA is having a show'n'shine down at Sir James Mitchell Park in South Perth today from 10am.

Cars will be parked on grassed area - feel free to park your bima amongst the rest if you come down, even if you're not a member. I'm not a member but will have mine down there. Be sure to say hello if you do cruise past - I'll be down there all morning playing cricket/having BBQ.

I went down and there was a nice collection of beemers, 2 x 135i's.. Daves and one from AC. Along with one red hatch.

Nice to put a face to your name Dave. Nice car

All good Simon. Thanks for coming down and saying hello Shaun. Nice to meet you, thanks for the kind words and good luck selling the "R".

In the end, another 135i showed up - owned by Denver of DJ Performance in perth - our SSTT supplier. He's not of the forums but any perthites who want a drive of his 135i with the SSTT, he's happy to give you a spin. I politely declined as I didn't want to experience the power, knowing i can't afford to buy it due to saving for a massive holiday!

I'll try and post more warning of such events next time and perhaps we can get a really good showing of 1 series coupes and verts!

They sure do have track days. Check them out on the web to get an idea of the events that they run. Else, feel free to ask me as i'm school friends with the president of the club so I get told well in advance when they are on in case i want a spot.
