bluetooth retrofit in progress, anyone know where the antenna goes??

hello all,

I decided to buy the bluetooth components and I have it all hooked up except for the antenna and re-arranging the MOST fiber optic cables- the latter of which I'll leave to the dealer when they re-program the car for the bluetooth- but, does anyone know where the antenna goes??? It doesn't seem like there's a spot for it on the panel under the steering wheel column, thanks in advance

Antenna is located underneath the dash floor panel on the driver's side. It will need to be connected for proper activation.

thanks tom- I figured it out by finding the factory retrofit instructions in dutch from babybmw.net I believe- anyway- I posted this in the sirius thread but if you know the answer that would be great- my TCU is active as it was used in an e90 and once I get the most fiber optic cables re-positioned, do you think the car will need to be recoded regardless or is there a possibility that an active tcu will work from the get go? (it was programmed for use as hands-free only, no assist- which is what I'll be using it for)

Yes, the TCU will most definitely need recoding. If you're in the Orange Co. area anytime soon - we can do that for you.
