128i vs. 330CI (2005)

Anyone have experience comparing the 128i with the older model 330CI?

I prefer the look of the 128i and significantly like the drive quality better than the 330CI. Seems that the 330CI was louder and didn't give a lot of power at the lower RPMs. Just my observation..

Not me. Newer doesn't mean better, especially in this day and age of the sacrifice of quality for profit margin.

I'd take a mint low miles 330ci over the 128 for the simple reason it's much nicer inside and out, and can be had for much less money and still it'll perform an identical job, which is basic transportation. The 330ci wins in the emotional equation too...it's just a much better looking car (especially the Performance Package model). The 330ci is also roomier inside (especially front passenger legroom) and the boot is bigger too.

I have a 128 and my buddy has a 330 and my 128 rides better but the 330 is faster. Like Lamini I like new over old as well. The 128 has a better appearance IMO. Good luck with what you chose can't go own with either.

Are you reffering to a zhp?

330i zhp's are sweet cars but they are used cars now.
Just my opinion new Bmw>old Bmw.

The 330 was top of the line while the 128 is the base. The 330 with ZHP has a much better suspension and driving dynamics. Ill go with the savings and take a CPO 330. It will depreciate less and cost less. This thread could be stickied
