minijet's so close and yet so far 135...

To preempt the no pics smilies...

We went to have a look at minijet's car today and possibly pick it up.

Looking good, except that the dealer didn't read the manual, and couldn't figure out how to open the door without rolling the windows down, and thus destroyed the tint on the driver side.

I think minijet is still hoping that they will fix it and he can pick it up tomorrow...

Sorry for the dodgey pics. Only had my N82 there...

Spoiled tint

Don't remember the spoiler being so small and so far in from the edge

Is that visible glue on the RHS of the spoiler?
Also - was the tint freshly applied? Opening/closing the window shouldn't ruin it!

That happened to my tint too, the dealer redone it and left the car at BMW for 2 days for it to fully cure. No dramas since then!

He sould come post up instead of me (esp. since it's not my car)
Re: spoiler
It doesn't matter too much as he's putting on the CF spoiler

Re: tint
It was fresh, but the dealer didn't know that a double press on the key fob would wind the windows down, and stuffed it. I think it's being redone today and minijet might be able to go pick it up today.
