Picked her up yesterday
Hi guys,
well I finally took delivery yesterday. Unfortunately work got quite busy when I was out so had to go straight home and work Gave me a good excuse to drive fast though. I can't believe how effortlessly quick this car is! I am really struggling to keep the tacho under 5000. I do have a sense that this car is slightly more laggy than the one I test drove so think I might get the sprint booster to try and offset that a bit. Also going to get the CDV. The comfort access is cool too and I love the brushed aluminuim trim. I've got it booked in to get the ozicozi done on the front bumper this arvo. I'll put some pics up tonight...though I'm sure you all know what an AW 135 looks like by now.

Congrats! CDV delete is the cheapest mod anyone can do. I don't know why anyone would NOT want to do it. You just simply can't shift fast with the original CDV in there!

I got the ozi cozi done this arvo. Just the front bumper. Looks great - can barely see it. Andrew was a great bloke and very professional They used the venture tape on mine. Also grabbed some Zaino Z2 and Z6 while I was there.
Here are some pics. Not very artistic I'm afraid!

And just in case anyone is wondering, my number plate was chosen several years ago so doesn't actually relate to the 1 series or "1 of the 1". and RAH is just my initials.

Congrads. It's a good feeling hey. Well done you are now part of a fairly exclusive group who enjoy these cars. Need to organize a meet. Being on this forum for a while it seems we dont just have great tastes in cars but in many other areas - Wine, beer,"FOOD" (thats an understatement), senic drives, peer group meetings, photo shoots etc. You Vics do a good job.
Maybe a NSW meet could be arranged? Yep. |
