The JB3 PnP, or pin-out?
And stock airbox or aftermarket filter?

I have the BMS single filter intake. It takes maybe 15 mins to put on max. Maybe 5 mins to take off.. The stock airbox takes maybe 25 mins to put back on but aprox 15 to take off.

I've put my stock intake back on twice now... annoying

I have installed an SSTT and I have been in the ECU:

An aftermarket filter would likely make it easier, this is assuming that you can reach the sensor underneath it. Definitely, makes it easier if you do both at the same time because the airbox needs to come out to install the SSTT anyway.
Otherwise, all things being stock and both PnP, it is probably very similar because it takes about the same amount of time to access the ECU as it does to remove the airbox. The main difference would be whether or not you were concerned about playing with the ECU. Does that make sense?

How hard was it to line the airbox itself onto those rubber grommets when reinstalling?

I know this wasn't directed toward me, but I found that since there was so little space, once the airbox was finally tucked back under the battery cable, it went right on the little grommets.

Yes they both provide the same performance. Just the pnp is 100 times easier.

SSTT is a simpler install. JB3 requires you to take more crap apart bur is fairly easy.
