$1600 AUD as I had to pay customs and GST. Ended up being double what it cost for the set of Dunlop sport Maxx for the wifes Lexus, but the dollar had dropped by about 8c in the meantime.

No, not runflats. When I was quoted near $1000 for one rear tyre in Brisbane I went straight to Tirerack. I picked up a BMW mobility kit today just to be on the safe side.

Nice nice niiice. Please after breaking them in, give us a review on how they stick to the road, because the conti 2's were not what I expected, but have great reviews regardless.

Contis have never been about outright grip. But they are the best riding one! I'm thinking of putting a set on my C63 (OEM size), and put the P zero in my 135i.

It will probably be the end of next week before I have them fitted so as soon as I wear them in a little I will be making a full report. The car is in at BMW getting the performance steering wheel fitted, the wiring diagram that came with it is showing wires that are totally missing in the Australian 135's. They have had to route the power from the cig lighter so it powers off when the car is stopped or if they follow the diagram it would have to be physically turned off every time you shut down. If not the lcd would run untill the battery went flat??

I told them, they didn't want to know about it?? I went in today and it was all working they just had to reprogram the computer to accept the new airbag ring, and also the lighting module had to be reprogrammed to run the light adjustment on the wheel so that it dimmed at the same rate as the instrument cluster lights.

No pressure sensors in Aust. 135's it just calculates rolling rotation speed with the ABS sensors, it make a calculation when ever the steering is straight and if the rolling diameter changes than BING flat tyre.

Silly question. Do they go straight on the OEM rims?

Had the tyres put on today, and they were well worth the trouble and expense. Even though I still have not worn off the rubber beads on the surface I can tell you one important difference GRIPPPPP!!! There is much less interference via the traction control system and reduced loss of traction on bumpy roads. The conti's stop that jittering feeling and they are nice and quiet. The steering feels at sharp as the RFT's, there is a slight (slight) sense that the rear end has a little more sway about it when doing slalom type moves, but with thinner sidewalls there has to be more tyre roll. Even doing a few quick S-type manauvers the outside 10mm of the rears still have not contacted the road. The 2 biggest improvements are GRIP and COMFORT.
I will add some more to this review over the next week or two.
