Guess the output! Dynoing the qship.
On 23 Aug as part of the WRX dyno day my 135i will be run on the HPF (Horse Power Factory) dyno in Dandenong. I thought it may be fun for everyone to give their best guess as to the result.
The car is absolutely stock and will have a fresh tank of 98 octane ( 93 for you yanks). Figures in Kw please. :iono:

I should add that the figures will be at the wheels, not the flywheel. My bad:biggrin:

With duplication of running gear and an extra dif a standard WRX looses around 35% on a 4WD dyno. The Bimmer should only loose around 18% making a figure of around 185kW. but could go to 190kW given a cold and moist Melb day.
Best guess is 187.5kW. |

My guess is 186kW.
Anything above 174 ATW kW will make me happy from a "bigger=better' narrow minded perspective, as that's what my 06 WRX made |

Seeing it's a manual, I'm going to say 184.5kw at the wheels...being optimistic and going for an 18% drivetrain loss  |
