Here she is.........finally!!
Well, here is my Sedona Red 135i! Picked her up yesterday and spent the day running around Perth and environs. It was absolutely wet and miserable yesterday so apologies for the "flat"pics - taken with a point-and-shoot Canon 800is. Might drag out the 1DsMkII when the weather is good.
This ProNav with voice recognition is great. |

Congratulations, amk2912, great to 'see' another 1'er on Perth streets! Only a month (best) to two months (worst) for me!

Congrats..... I've always not minded Sedona and seriously considered it. But sight unseen I went for something safer in the end. Now I've ended up with 4 blue cars of various shades in my household......

Congratulations - the colour looks great. What interiors did you get?
Did you stop on Mounts Bay Rd to take that photo??

I'm a bit of a conservative - all my BMW's have had black interiors! Black Boston leather with the bubble boy trim. The shots were taken on The Esplanade, Peppermint Grove and Johnson Parade, Mosman Park on the banks of the Swan River. |

Congrats!
I'm a fan of Sedona Red. I liked it at the launch I went to, and it was in my top three selections: Le Mans, BSM, Sedona. Currently have SGM and I feel it has dated badly so I'm not sad BMW is getting rid of it. Oh and super nice tint!

I love the colour looks great, even in average light.
IMO it is always a good bet to buy the hero colour of the range and, I may be wrong (it happens often) but the 1coupe is the only model in the BM range that you can order the colour in so, by default, it becomes "individual". Nice, keep it clean and drive it mean! |

The tinting is called "Street Legal Tint" and I think exclusive to BMW. It is a Tint-a-Car product and mine is charcoal/non-metallic. I ordered it when I ordered the car.
You wouldn't drive a non-tinted car in WA...not unless you wanted your right arm toasted in summer! |

Cheers mate. It gets pretty hot here in canberra as well so we've always had our cars tinted. I'm not too happy with the tint job on our 120 but the 135 will be tinted and we'll get it done from another business. The best tint I ever had was MP3 films that had metallic bits in it, but it sems that this type of tint may cause problems if you have comfort access, but I'm not sure if this true or not. Anyway, a fabulous looking car you have there and I can't wait to get ours.
Cheers, Phil |
