Hi everyone, thought I'd post up a quick hello

I've got my 135i on order, but apparently the September delivery date I was told initially is being pushed out to October now

at least it gives me a bit longer to sell my current car.

Hopefully I should get the VIN soon so I can track the order a bit more closely too!

Anyway, look forward to reading everyone's posts and learning more about the car.

Nothing too fancy, I added the Black Sapphire paint job (black leather for the interior), a dark tint done by the dealer and the 10 speaker sound system.

The rest I didn't think was necessary, and I'd rather spend the spare $$ on some items from the Performance catalogue

Welcome. My car remains as the least optioned up one on this forum I think. Only paid option is active headlights. But of course I have since spent a bit more on superficial CF parts and other real performance enhancing part.

Congrats, welcome to the fold.

Mine is being "crafted" at the house of the Ultimate Driving Experience this week. Yippee, should be a Sept delivery (crossed fingers).

Mine's also meant to be built this week. They could be sisters!? Except my dealer insists delivery will be either late Sept or early Oct. Basically no guarantee of Sept.

Welcome aboard mate. I'm waiting for an October delivery with you. Looks like we have a near identical spec too, except that I'm not getting the tint and have ordered Sparkling Graphite instead of Black Sapphire (though I test drove two of those).

I too have played the long waiting game in the past on a new car - it ain't the best thing, but it does build to an eventual euphoric climax when you finally take delivery, so enjoy :smile:
